River Trips by Canoe, Kayak or Tube on the Pemi River

Head north for a cool day on the Pemi River and rent our canoes, kayaks or tubes in New Hampshire's White Mountains. It's a short drive from points south and conveniently located just off Rt. 93.

Kayak and Tube Rental Rates

Prices Include Shuttle Service

Rentals open to the public. Shuttle service for our rentals only.

Single Kayak

$40.00/day

Rental includes Paddle, life vests, instruction and 4-mile shuttle (2-4 hrs. long). Longer Trips are available.

Double Kayak

$60.00/day

Rental includes Paddles, life vests, instruction and 4-mile shuttle (2-4 hrs. long). Longer trips are available.

Tube

$30.00/day

Rental includes Tube and 3- or 4-mile shuttle (2-4 hrs. long).

Canoe

$60.00/day

Camping season: May 1st through Columbus Day

Tubing on the Pemi River

What better way, than to spend a summer day in New Hampshire than tubing on the Pemigewasset River. Come stay at Pemi River Campground, located in the White Mountains of New Hampshire and enjoy a leisurely day floating down the river on an inner tube. Paying guests get a free shuttle 3-4 miles upriver - let the gentle current lead you back down to your campground.

Hours 9am -1pm

No reservations needed, first come first served.

$30 per person, includes shuttle and life jacket

We bring up the river 3 miles.

Float down to our beach

Time on the river varies w/ water flow.

Pemi River Campground also rents kayaks and canoes by the day.

Tubing on the Pemi is the perfect family day - bring the kids and come prepared to let the river be your guide. Mountain air and cool river water complete the perfect setting for a hot summer afternoon.

The campground is located in Thornton, New Hampshire which is an easy 2 hour drive from Boston and about an hour north of Concord, NH. You will find the campground just off of Rt. 93 at exit 29.
